Saul Burciaga MD is a Family Physician with more than 15 years of experience. He was born and raised in Parral, Chihuahua and came to the US to become a physician. He studied at La Universidad de Monterrey Medical School in Monterrey, Mexico and went to Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM to complete his residency program in Family Medicine. He worked at La Clinica de Familia, where he became medical director and then he opened his own practice, Las Cruces Primary Care. In his free time, Dr. Burciaga likes to go camping, golfing, biking, and spending time with his family.
Ricardo Perez, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of healthcare experience. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and later earned his Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
Ricardo began his career as a Registered Nurse and has experience in family medicine and
cardiovascular care. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care with a focus on preventive medicine, acute care, chronic disease management, and overall wellness. Ricardo believes in educating his patients and working together to help them achieve their
healthcare goals. In his free time, Ricardo enjoys spending time with his wife and children, staying active through fitness, honoring God through his faith, and continuing his medical education.
Heather Lugo is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience. She was born and raised in Las Cruces. She also graduated from Oñate High School and received her Nursing degree from NMSU. In her time off, Heather likes to watch her son's sporting events.
Joel Zapata is a clinical administrator with over 15 years of experience in
healthcare operations. Joel is dedicated to optimizing administrative processes for improved patient care, supporting clinical teams to help deliver high- quality services and providing prompt patient care coordination. Joel was born and raised in Las Cruces NM where he attended College at NMSU. Joel proudly holds a State of New Mexico certified High School coaching license. In his free time, Joel enjoys mentoring the youth by coaching high school football in the area and being an active member of the church diocese.
